I originally sat for this exam on a Saturday and the testing software bombed for both this one and a test I had slated in the afternoon (217). I rescheduled both on the same day. I focused more on the 217.
This one was moderately challenging. Had I paid more attention to it I possibly would have scored higher than 818 but it's a pass so no complaints.
Stuff on OUS, DNS issues, IIS problems. Vaguely remember some DFS.
I used Learnkey, Exam Cram (original) and the sometimes useless Skillsoft. I think the live exam questions were closer to LK and EC's practice tests.
Just have to retake "the beast" now.
Easiest of the MCSA exams

I found this one very easy, blew threw it with a 897 in about half an hour. I found this one easier than Pro and Server. You can really tell when you take an exam you have real world experience with. I work with AD constantly everyday, this one was a piece of cake. Lots of questions on OU nestings and how they relate to permissions, GPO's, DNS and a little bit of RRAS and IIS, didn't get anything else on the exam. Off to knock off Exchange 2003 and I'm done!

Already passed 70-210, 215, 216 and 217. If you know GPO and DNS you should pass. Some other simple network troubleshooting questions and some RRAS. Also know when to use safe mode/last known good to recover from various failures. Common sense and some basic core knowledge will get you an easy pass.
An easy one

Difficult of exam depends on experience
For me it was an easy one, and only neaded to refresh my memory on some dialogs (printing etc)

No matter how much I studied, whenever I sat a practice exam I got between 60 and 75%. Luckily on the day I scored 720 (72%) in the real thing.
Easy

Lot of questions based on DNS and GPO. There are few questions about backups (yep, very funny for an exam called "Network Environment"). But this exam is very simple (the most easy in MCSA 2K).
987 in 90 min.
Average in my opinion

Definitely take this exam BEFORE 70-216. It is much easier. If you have passed 70-215, then this should not be much more difficult (only a little). Lots of topics overlap too, so if you have studied for one, you've studied for half of this one too. I was pleasantly surprized that this exam was easier than I had expected. Hope you feel that same after you take and pass it. Never the less, make sure that you know and understand how to apply what you have studied (true of all the exams).
Easiest MIcrosoft Exam So Far

This one was quite easy. It mostly covers scenarios where x computer cannot connect to y computer, figure out why. I'd guess around 60% of my questions had scenarios like that. DNS, GPO, and Share/NTFS permissions are the three biggest topics. Know how to troubleshoot networking and setup security policies and you'll be fine.
Tough

Passed today with a 832. I used Microsoft book and Selft Test Software. I was a little cought off gard. I had mastered the Seft Test stuff but the test did not hardly hav any Questions that were close to the same. KNOW DNS ALL OFF IT. Lots of GPO stuff but I was swamped with DNS questions. This is my third Microsoft test it is by far the most Tough.
