Embarassed to just now take it

Not Bad. I'd say average. If you study and know Windows Security, difficult is same as most MS exams. But, I rated it "hard" on cramsession.com because unfortunately, like ALL microsoft exams, they give you TOO MUCH info, or NOT ENOUGH INFO and in either case there is feasibly more than one correct answer. My exam was 85% good old multiple choice. Know the "technology". I wasted time reading abt business processes and didn't really need to know that stuff. Word is 70-220 retires in March 2008. If you're going to take it, better get crackin'. I'll up my 2k to 2k3 in Nov, just in time for 2008 rolling out next year. Took way too long to do this, so I'm glad it's out of the way now. MCSE 2000 (add one more to the million or so out there). Found Sybex books (cheap at amazon.com) and online training helpful. Use MS Prep guide (free on website for each exam).

I ve now completed my MCSE and I would say this was one of the hardest. the questions are easy its just thoughs drag and connect questions that are the nightmare so plenty of practise with them.
The easiest for me

After hearing how tough it was, I was a little suspicious, but after taken all the others to complete MCSE, this one was for me the most relaxed one. Now maybe it's because I work in the security field since a while, or maybe it's because I have the baground of the previous exams, but all together, I thought it wasn't that bad. Except for those damn built a tree and drag&drop, those are the worst!
Tedious but not difficult

I passed with 752. The test requires 675. I don't recall seeing anything from Domain 4.8 (Design network services security) or 6.1 (SMB-Signing). No DNS, RIS, SNMP, or Terminal Services, but that may just be the way they cut the cards. I read through each case study systematically and took copious notes on the dry erase board. It's the reading and writing that took the time answering the 44 questions was not that difficult. I think I had two arrange the tree questions and five drag and drop. There were only two or three that I was completely unsure of. Several of my questions were very similar to those in the MS Readiness review. That book, my job duties, and a MOC 2150 class in September 2002 were my only preparation. I rarely kill these exams, but I don't kill myself to pass them either. One more to MCSE 2000.
Drag and drop nightmare

Be carfeul of thos drag and drop questions. They're not all that clear exactly what they want in the design, but I did find that if I tried to put too many connections in that it came back and told me so I knew I'd done it wrong to start. Just remember when and where to use PPTP, L2TP and IPSEC and you should be fine.

Passed it, 921. Lots of Drag and Drop/ Connect to questions. They say that chances are if you miss those, you will quickly fail the exam. As always, know your stuff!
