SYNOPSIS Oracle9i OCM
Oracle’s Oracle 9i OCM Practicum exam is a core
requirement for the Oracle 9i OCM (Oracle Certified Master) certification. It
is designed for advanced level database personnel with three to four years
Oracle experience. The prerequisite for this exam is having your OCP (Oracle
Certified Professional) certification as well as having completed two advanced
DBA courses from Oracle University
This exam is difficult and
costs $2,000 USD. It may be taken from an authorized
Oracle training facility.
This exam is a “two day live
application performance test that requires participants to complete a series of
scenarios and resolve technical and failure problems within an Oracle9i
Database environment. Scenarios are timed and require a high degree of Oracle
database knowledge to successfully complete them. Participants are scored on
their ability to successfully complete assigned tasks and must achieve a
passing score of 70% to obtain their Oracle9i Database Administrator Certified Master
credential.”
