Novell’s exam 050-653 (course 560), “NetWare 5.1 Administration” is the only exam required for the Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) 5 certification as well, as one of the core requirements for the Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) 5 certification. This exam is designed for candidates who have a fundamental knowledge of “network management tasks on a NetWare 5.1 network.” There is no specific prerequisite for this exam but Novell strongly recommends that “individuals have a CompTIA Network+ certification before pursuing the CNA” and that candidates “have a good understanding of network implementation, support, media, topologies, protocols, and standards.”

This exam is easy and is priced at $125, $55.50, or $27.50 depending on the region in which it's taken.  Most North American and European and some Asia Pacific countries fall under the highest price tier. The exam may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.

Untitled Document > Persistent Group Chat: An Approach for More Profitable Team Communications: Unlike email, instant messages (IMs) do not allow group communication; nor do they persist -- you can't hold on to them for as long as you wish. Persistent group chat, however, allows businesses to organize persistent dialogue around business-critical topics, and keep them for easy retrieval later.
