Novell’s
exam 050-650 (course 770), “Internet Security Management With BorderManager
Enterprise Edition 3.5 Version 1.02” is one of the electives for the Certified Novell
Engineer (CNE) 5 certification. This exam is designed
for candidates who can “implement BorderManager as part of an intranet or
Internet security solution” and who can “install, configure, administer,
maintain, and troubleshoot the following components of BorderManager: packet
filtering, network address translation (NAT), proxy services, Virtual Private
Networks (VPNs).” There is no specific prerequisite for this exam.
This exam is easy to moderately difficult and is
priced at $125, $55.50, or $27.50 depending on the region
in which it's taken. Most North American and European and some Asia
Pacific countries fall under the highest price tier. The exam may be taken from
Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
The passing score is 608. This exam is a form test
(traditional), consisting of 71 questions, and has a duration of 90
minutes.
