It is highly recommended that you install the operating system
on a SPARC workstation to get acquainted with it. If you have access to a UNIX
account at work or school, use it to try out the commands covered in this
Cramsession. If nothing else, go through the man pages for the commands (and
their options and switches) that you see in this Cramsession
Use Sun’s website for documentation and
“how-to” guides. They are extremely well written and will help you
at any stage of your career as a system or network administrator. You will find
