CERTIFICATION

Relates to: A+ | A+
CompTIA's A+, the certification that has become a right of passage into the IT industry,
as well as a great way to fill in a few gaps for IT experts with years of experience (ahem, we know whereof we speak here), has turned 10.
It is no surprise, then, that such a long lived certification has been achieved by 500,000 people, and that it will be updated towards the
end of this year.
An important point about the 2003 update to the A+ is that you can mix and match. Here's what CompTIA says: "Candidates who have already
passed the existing A+ Core Hardware or A+ Operating System Technologies exam (testing against the 2001 objectives) will become certified
by passing the second exam covering the 2003 objectives."
